Chicken Tortilla Soup. Honestly the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had in San Diego. It's not a typical tomato heavy broth, but the slices of chicken breast, hint of lime-cilantro, and the avocado make me order this ALL THE DAMN TIME. It's great for when you're feeling under the weather. It never disappoints. View all feedback.
What Laura S doesn't like about Dos Brasas Mexican Food:
I would give you -75 if that was possible. Food poisoning is no joke. I'm still waiting to hear from the health dept. if it is Ecoli, Salmonella, or something else. NEVER needed that. View all feedback.
We stayed at an AirBnB close to Dos Brasas so it was so convenient to get there. It was a 5 minute walk. Service was fast and the cashier/order taker was very nice. My son is picky so I was surprised he liked the chorizo plate which is what we ordered. The chicken burrito was great too and the enchiladas were just right. Food is also priced just right.
I was expecting a little more based on some of the reviews. I had the garlic shrimp. The shrimp were kind of rubbery so probably not fresh as opposed to frozen. This was the first time I had been to a Mexican place that not only didn't give out chips and salsa, but didn't have them for purchase either.
With so many Mexican Food options we consistently come back to this one for our breakfast burritos. Machaca plates are also one of our favorite go to's
We are both still sick. Please be wary eating here! 3 days no work and still feeling terrible. Not worth it!
Delicious late night snack after flying into San Diego late. Nachos and 3 rolled tacos were lovely and hit the spot. Located kitty corner to Holiday Inn Express
