Great little restaurant, older building but is clean taken care of. I like supporting local businesses. My husband's brisket sandwich was fabulous, my philly sandwich was pretty good but could have used an juice as it was a little dry. I loved seeing the mountains as we sat indoors but in an open air area! I'd eat here again recommend it to a friend! Reasonably priced. View all feedback.

It was accompanied with unwanted taps in the shoulder. The reason for choosing this place and be willing to pay a little more than we pay at a very nice fast food chain on the same plaza is for dining in experience, not just fir a piece of meat. Also one of the waitresses’s attire partially revealed her cleavage, especially when she was leaning forward.
A friend and myself rode down from central Ky yesterday, 8-23-24 to ride the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway and I had picked out the Tellicafe to eat ate. First impression, don’t be fooled by the outside or inside. It is older BUT the food was absolutely great and the service as well. This is home cooked stuff and the portion’s size was prefect. I had the meatloaf, macNcheese, fries. The fries reminded me of Rally fries. crunchy and seasoned awesome . The price was absolutely reasonable. They even gave us extra napkins without asking, which is something ALL restaurants should do. Only thing I didn’t care for was the music was a bit too loud but thats minor, anyway, I would definitely eat here again. Also, as for motorcycles, they have blacktop parking and indoor bathrooms, plenty of seating.
We are usually very satisfied with this restaurant. The food and service are great, and I love going there. However, one day the service was terrible. People who arrived after us got their food and bread rolls earlier, and when we asked about the rolls, we were told they had run out. Our waitress was nowhere to be found, so another waitress named Ember F. had to take care of us. When we finally got our food and drinks, I had to eat with my hands because I didn't have any cutlery. also had to refill our drinks.
Probably the best food in the region. Large menu , recently enlarged seating area, full bar , now serving breakfast, great service. Not fancy just good food. Average pricing.
I hadn’t been in years, when we would ride towards Telico Plains, we always stopped for the Fried Green Tomatoes. Had a friend with me yesterday, 8/17/24, and we were passing through after a weekend of whitewater kayaking, I BRAGGED on the FGT, but what we got were thin, greasy, flavorless, limp fried green tomatoes. I miss the other thick, flavorful, crispy fried recipe. Our waiter/waitress was on point. I will try the FTG again on another trip through. Could have just been an off day. They’ve always been my go to place on our rides when we’re in the area
