Wonderful, well prepared food, great beer, great atmosphere and service- I don’t think there’s a better place to go in Tahoe. We had the Panzanella avocado salad- amazing! And the artichoke chips appetizer- everything was freshly prepared and high quality. View all feedback.
What Jason Ogasian doesn't like about Cold Water Brewery Grill:
The food was ok, the atmosphere was noisy, we were informed about a discount for locals but the managers were too busy to help us apply it. However, the truffle fries were amazing and highly recommended as a side dish with any order. View all feedback.
Good brewery and restaurant. Dog-friendly. Shady outside in the seating area. No lake views, but beautiful atmosphere. Friendly and fast service. Great food and decent design beer selection. Full bar.
The service was excellent here, the manager was ready to work with me when I didn't like the food I received. Your fries also amazing. Their burgers taste as they tried to hide a frozen Patty with Char Broil taste and definitely not worth the $20 price.... Luckily, my friend ordered the fish and chips that were actually quite good and get back more than he could eat, so I finished it. The smores brownie was also more like a cake and not dense and fudgy like a brownie.
This review is hard because on our dishes was delicious and the other one was not good at all. The mahi tacos were simply not well served and not fully served as they are listed on the menu. In addition, one of the beers we both got was served brown, it looked like sewer water, but the server insisted it was just lazy.. we were still too skeptical and ordered something else. Overall it was okay, and dogs were allowed on the outdoor terrace.
Service was excellent, great interior and exterior seats. Cocktails were delicious, craft beers were good and interesting. Beetnik was probably the best cocktail. Elote Dip was delicious and unusual! Chicken sandwich was good, but could have been spicier. Loved the Ahi Poke bowl, it was delicious.
We sat outside upstairs since we had a puppers with us. The staffs were friendly but oddly not super friendly either. They had solid drink selections and food. The most unique was the beet juice with vodka and salt pepper rims. The combination of the flavors were interesting! My 2nd favorite is probably fish chips. Would I return? Maybe, just, maybe.
