Churrasqueira Xanoca - S DOMINGOS

It was Sunday and many restaurants were closed. We came across this restaurant down the street from our hotel and decided to give it a try. Many locals were there which is usually a good sign. We weren’t disappointed. We ordered the bbq chicken and asked them to make us a salad, which wasn’t on the menu. They did an excellent job with the salad and the chicken was superb. Very reasonable prices and excellent quality. Give it a try.

When we (two of us) arrived there were no empty tables. For us this is always a good sign. After a few minutes we were seated, surrounded mainly by locals on a lunch break. The place specializes in grilled meats, chicken, fish and seafood. We enjoyed a perfectly grilled chicken very well flavored, a pile of crispy hot French fries and a dish of rice. A mixed salad lightened the wonderful meal. There is was delicious fresh bread on the table and the waiter brought us fresh cheese as well. We also tried the spicy sauce for the chicken, beware, it is hot! A strong Espresso cleared our pallet it was delicious, service was super friendly and all can be done in English.

Restaurante de apresentação humilde nas que nos presenteia com uns grelhados de excelente qualidade. Aconselho vivamente posta à Xanoca. Não é o melhor local caso se pretenda um restaurante sossegado.
