Description

Nestled in Ryton, The Runheed has garnered a mixed bag of reviews. Diners have praised its meat dishes, particularly the steak and ale pie, noting the attentive staff and inviting atmosphere. However, recent visits reveal a concerning decline in quality, with complaints about underwhelming food options, poor service, and insufficient attention to details, such as not providing steak knives. Some guests enjoyed a pleasant experience with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, especially during busy bank holidays, while others were left disappointed by the slim menu and inconsistent food quality. There's potential for a delightful meal, but consistency appears to be key.

I had a wonderful meal with my kids today! There were great food options, and everything was absolutely delicious. The kids really enjoyed their meals as well. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, family, and customers. Thank you!
