Reviews - Caffé Stop Pickering

#6 - Vegetarian - Ryedale, Coffee, British

Reviews summary

Caffe Stop in Pickering offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers raving about their delicious big breakfasts and amazing paninis, while others are left disappointed by the restricted menu and lackluster atmosphere. The friendly staff and quick service are highlighted as positives, but the inconsistency in food offerings and service may leave some patrons itching to try other nearby establishments. The café's location overlooking the town car park is seen as a bonus for some, but overall, opinions are divided on whether Caffe Stop is a must-visit or a pass.

Was Anonym at Caffé Stop Pickering a mag?

We've just had the most wonderful breakfast. The full English was delicious. Bacon and sausage tasted like quality meats and the mushrooms were delicious. Tea cake was tasty and the pot of tea for two was strong and plentiful. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Caffé Stop Pickering:

Typical cafe, short bread was lovely, really decent slice and very nice. But sausage rolls were half the size what you would expect I mean honestly we thought they had cut them in half to save money and the large coffee would be a regular anywhere else. View all feedback.

Stopped here for breakfast as we were staying in the area on holiday. Had a nice bacon bap and a sausage bap and pot of tea sitting outside in the sun. It was very popular with locals who were all coming for breakfast! When we were ordering inside we could see an amazing array of cakes and brownies. Bought a salted caramel brownie which the young lad serving us kindly put in a bag to take home. My daughter said it was absolutely delicious! Prices for the food were very reasonable. If we ever return to Pickering we will definitely be eating here again.

Lovely little café. Ideal for coffee and cakes whilst awaiting the car to charge. Only negative if I had to chose one would be the lack of vegan options but I can't imagine they are that popular in this rural location

Lovely, affordable cafe in an otherwise expensive town.

Lovely friendly eatery. Dog friendly too. Home-baked treats available. We stopped for a quick breakfast stop, Lovely choices for food. No semi or skimmed milk. Parking easy (literally on a huge car park! Usual breakfast and lunch options, all fresh made. Reasonable price range.

This restaurant only serves coffee because they don't offer a full breakfast. The menu looked very appealing with great prices and the customer service was excellent.

I had a large and delicious big breakfast at this restaurant, but I was disappointed that it came with a whole tomato. I wish they had served roasted tomatoes instead. The toast was to die for!

What a lovely place to eat and relax. I had a fabulous panini with bacon and pesto, salad with chopped cucumber and peppers with little bits of fruits in it, chips and homemade coleslaw. The English breakfast is very nice my husband says. If you are passing you must stop by.

I stopped by this café on my way to Whitby. It was clean and the sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented.

Stopped in Pickering for lunch on our way to Whitby, we arrived at to be told that they couldn’t do panini sandwiches because they had turned off the grill an hour before closing and were only serving coffee and cakes, then continued to take...two workmen’s order for hot sandwiches, we left without buying anything, must have had a good Sunday to not want to sell two Panini’s two coffees and cakes, went elsewhere which was a blessing as it was lovely, can’t recommend Caffe Stop
