The food was excellent. The portions were generous, making it a good value. The service was very attentive. If I had one area for improvement it would be that the food arrived too fast. We had 6:30 reservation and our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering it. For such a nice restaurant I would expected a bit more time to enjoy our drinks before our food arrived. The waiter should not lean on his leg when opening wine. It would be nice if the management trained the staff. He was very nice, it's not his fault it has not been trained. The desserts where tasteless. Sorry, I am in the industry. It's a great location View all feedback.
Everything is fresh and outstanding. The atmosphere is beautiful—vibrant yet not noisy.
The restaurant is always consistent, and the reasonable corkage fee makes it all the more enjoyable. Their buck-a-shuck oysters on Tuesdays are also a big draw.
Asked for a romantic corner for a date, and the personal was totally cool and discreet it let us stay!
I would definitely recommend contacting the food inspector about this place. As soon as we finished our meal, a rat scurried under our table, and my partner and I leapt up onto the seats in shock. When the waiter heard my scream, he asked if everything was okay. Upon informing him about the rat, he showed no concern or urgency to involve the manager—he simply dismissed it. We couldn’t put our feet down because the creature was hiding under our table. While we anxiously waited for assistance, we ended up waiting about 10 minutes for the manager to arrive. When she finally did, she basically blamed the issue on the kitchen door being left open, which supposedly allowed the rat to enter. They were very slow to bring us the bill, and we hurriedly paid and left. I have no intention of returning to this establishment.
