another very nice meal with friends in the oak. we expected a Sunday roast after the Sunday menu, but the only available bread cake was a Christmas roast with all that trim! had enough Christmas dinner thanks so that was disappointing. However, the alternatives on the menu and the specials were very good and for missing traditional Sunday roasting. great service of very friendly staff. many thanks. I'll see you soon. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, although some of the staff could benefit from additional customer service training. Overall, the experience was decent, but it didn't stand out, and first impressions are important. We waited 40 minutes for the last starter to arrive after the first one, which wasn't ideal.
