I had a wonderful experience with delicious, authentic Persian cuisine in a cozy setting. The kebabs were especially fantastic. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would love to return to this place! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Farsi:
The dishes are priced almost at 2 (or 1.5) times every other Persian restaurant but that's not even the worst part! The food was average at best! The service is absolutely poor! We sat there after dinner for 40 mins and although they only had 2 other tables occupied they never came to ask if we wanted dessert! Nothing! For that price and the average food you would expect at least better service. Will not be back. View all feedback.
The Farsi restaurant is truly one of the main reasons I'm glad to be living in this city. I'm grateful for its presence in Sydney and the professionalism of the staff. They consistently deliver some of the best flavors I've ever tasted, maintaining high quality in both their food and customer service. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it to everyone, even those who are particular about dining.
Been coming here regularly over the years and for Persian kabob this place is consistently good and you never leave disappointed.<br/ <br/ I normally order the Vaziri as the koobideh and joojeh are always good and it comes with a massive serving of rice. The starters of mast oo khiar and salad Shiraz never let you down either.<br/ <br/ The two big let downs are that it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is and the customer service is generally very poor. As an example you will call at 5.15 to place an order and they will tell you to call back at 5.30 as this is when they open instead of taking the order and cooking it when they open. They have little annoying quirks like this but you get accustomed to it over the years and you learn to work around them.<br/ <br/ But overall, in terms of the food, of all Persian restaurants in Sydney this one is definitely the best in terms of quality and consistency.<br/ <br/ If it wasn’t for the poor service and for it being overpriced, this place would be a 5 all day instead of the 4 in which I have rated.
Highly recommended. Friendly staff with tasty Persian dishes. Always enjoy my time there. Try kebab and traditional ice cream . Good for family
Authentic and full of flavour with this restaurants dishes. My favourite dish being the ghormeh sabzi, it is one of the best I have eaten. Their dishes of course are very filling especially for the portion of the rice, you can be sure to leave full. <br/ <br/ Prices aren’t too bad, the bigger the dish, the more expensive it becomes. <br/ <br/ Bookings are required to reduce disappointment, parking can also be a nightmare if you find yourself attending the restaurant on a busy weeknight. They are helpful if you are running late trying to find a space though. <br/ <br/ Live singer/piano on Saturday nights- does give a nice ambience into the Iranian culture.
The food is Nom Nom Nom here. It's a tad on the expensive side for Iranian food. However, satisfactory considering how Nom Nom Nom the food is. The service needs some help. Typical two face Iranian service. Fake smiles, pretending to be nice, but they really can't stand you and just want your money. Thats normal for Iranians. I know, I am the biggest two face Iranian. Actually one of the waitresses doesn't know what a smile is. She must not be Iranian as its obvious she dislikes everyone. Doesn't do the fake Iranian Torof at all. I would come back again to eat the delicious food. Nom Nom Nom!!!<br/
