This is a lovely restaurant with ample seating located within the bustling Bee Garden Centre, which provides plenty of free parking. Excellent plant nursery. restaurant menu, but high quality and large portions. the choice of cake is something else!
We have driven past many times, but this time, feeling a little peckish, we pulled in. With such a large seating area there was no problem in finding a table. We ordered a panini and toastie which were fairly priced, well presented and tasty.
Lovely garden centre/shop with loads of things to buy. Cafe was good, huge piece of cake (ok not cheap) but worth sharing
Lovely place for a lunch. Very good varied menu and huge portions!
Had lunch today, however my wife’s veggie burger and chips were a million miles from ideal although she did eat half of the meal but not the salad as that looked limp. My fish and chips were probably the worst I’ve ever encountered. Cold plates for starters that meant the peas were cold, chips were overcooked so crispy all the way through. The fish (Haddock) was what you would cheaply buy in Tesco for circa £1.49 the type you would not buy unless you had hit hard times. You know the type slightly triangle shape with reconstituted fish? In the middle you can hardly see. They should be ashamed to serve such rubbish. So I ask for a refund and with no quibble they returned my money. We have eaten here before and this time the service was pedestrian. With the doors wide open it was a very fraught experience.
