We had a nice chat with everyone in the front bar, which i... read more Phil, the owner of the pub, along with the friendly locals at the bar, made our visit very enjoyable. We had a nice chat with everyone in the front bar, which is also known as the main bar, as well as the private bar. Despite this being a small pub, we felt warmly welcomed. We decided to order the beef burgers, which were delicious and came with excellent chips. Don't forget to try the Rydal extra extra dry beer on tap, it's very refreshing. After just one sip, you'll likely want a second or even a third. Phil, I am looking forward to seeing the train set that I know you have hidden away on my next visit.
