For a lunch visit, I found the pricing to be reasonable, ranging from $20 to $30 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a top score of 5, and the service was equally impressive, also a solid 5. The atmosphere of the place added to the overall experience, giving it another perfect score of 5.
I highly recommend trying the salad, pie, fried green tomatoes, and chopped steak – all were delightful! View all feedback.
What Heather Moore dislikes about Yesterday's Cafe Rutledge:
Placed a to go order for 30 minutes in advance. When I went to pick it up, I stood in line for 20 minutes before getting to the register. I was rudely told she would have to check out the remain line of people (another 2 minutes) before I could get my to-go order that was sitting next to her at the register. I will chose another place for biscuits in the future after this transaction. Service: Take out View all feedback.
The food was quite good, but unfortunately, our waitress appeared disinterested in serving us and didn't provide the level of customer service we expected. We accidentally forgot to leave a tip when we left, so we came back about five minutes later to rectify the mistake. However, the waitress did not seem grateful for us addressing the issue. On a positive note, the pie was excellent, and I would return just for that. Service: Dine in.

After we did some hiking at the nearby State Park, we decided drive into Rutledge to eat lunch. We found Yesterday's Cafe and really enjoyed it. Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Next time we come to Rutledge, we will eat here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
