The Daily Grind was established in February 2017 and opened its second site in Oakham, Rutland. The interior of The Daily Grind is designed to be welcoming and functional, with bespoke bench seats, window seats, and copper Tolix chairs. In addition to indoor seating, there is an outdoor seating area at the rear of the café where you can enjoy our delicious milkshakes.

Good for a coffee but offers very little else so if slightly prickly then you really need to look different. Staff turnover seems to be very frequent so don't expect consistency of service.

Yes, we decided that after trying a number of places in Oakham, this is the place to go for good coffee... But for me it gives a score of 5 for the speed of service. needs to be improved. In fact we'll be back tomorrow so...yes try it!

This coffee shop is so peaceful. No bad music or over-hissy machines. Just good, decent coffee. Welcomed my dog in too. As well as indoor space, outdoor area also quiet and away from traffic. Just down form Lloyds and Costa. Well worth a visit.

I've tasted coffee from every single vendor in Oakham, the Daily Grind is by far the best. Amazing coffee, attentive staff and a beautiful setting. Whatever you need, I encourage you to come and visit. We'll be back soon!

Love this coffee shop, friendly service, well-priced and great menu. I particularly recommend their biscoff hot chocolate it was heavenly always visit here when passing and I’m never disappointed. Would much rather come here than one of the chain places like Costa.
