stay on the campsite a few nights and ate in the pub both nights. everything was perfect, really great personal, everything perfect to do, really great, interesting eating with subtle touches that highlight it, great wine list, very cheap prices for such excellent foods. it deserves at least one Michelin star. Absolutely amazing!!! Both owners of the place are so lovely and welcoming and German traditional meals are outstanding!! Thank you sooooo much for bringing my childhood taste buds back. I will recommend anyone I know to have food here if they visit Wales. Will definitely return.
Great customer service. Loads of character to this pub, it’s an awesome spot and ended up returning multiple times. The team were really accommodating and friendly.

A very lovely 17th century pub, never found out where the name comes from. Lots of parking, great beer and very friendly landlord.
Lovely find! The German food was amazing and you can’t knock the portion sizes!! Lovely landlord, super chatty! We will definitely come back when we next visit the area Dog friendly
