Later, a... read more We parked our car promptly when we found a lot. Few guys were waving at us from afar and asked something which I couldn 't make out. So we just parked. Later, a guy walked over to QUESTION us. I then realised they were actually trying to valet the car forus. I felt forced to pass him the car keys although we have already parked the car. It stated complimentary valet, but maybeshould just indicated 'valet parking only ' if expectation is for guest to have valet park. We had reservations at 2pm. Arrivedearly around 1.30pm, but was told to wait till 2pm. We hang out at the lounge. Given a 1 Michelin star, I was expectingsomething really out of the world to a certain extent. Maybe over expected, food was okay only. Given choice of house water orsparkling water, we chose house water. Bread was served. Both sour dough and wheat bread were nice. Octopus starter was a bittoo salty. Pork rib was okay. The scallops were really big though, and nice. I opted for chocolate mousse, it was okay aswell. When we came out, we also noticed the valet shifted our car to another lot, which our initial lot wasn 't blocking anyonein the first place.

We found a hair in our salmon dish and a fly in a beer. The waitress did what she could to accommodate the mishap, but wedefinitely expected more attention to detail! The food was decent, but nothing crazy. The service was very slow (1 hour to getentree from being seated) causing us to push back a spa reservation in Calistoga. Luckily the spa was flexible toaccommodate. The view from the restaurant really made the entire experience. I recommend just to enjoy it and take in the freshair!
