Flying J Travel Center - Ruther Glen

You guys need to fix these fuel pumps. I was just on a pump where the satellite pump doesn't work unless you push it in and there are two bolts that could easily just be screwed in to fix it. You realize that you're losing money if somebody can feel uptheir second fuel tank right? I really get frustrated when I go to fuel pumps and there's something broken with the fuel pump.

Pleasantly surprised at how clean the place was and how friendly the staff were despite it being very busy. Nice selection of grab and go foods. Things seem to be stocked even though many, many customers were there. I was especially happy with theselection of fresh fruit available. They have peeled mandarins, grapes, and other fruit ready to go in convenient containers. They also had hot food available and plenty of drink options.

I stopped here to get gas and noticed that the food inside looked appealing. They had five-gallon buckets filled with windshield washer fluid and extended reach wipers available. It was convenient to come in and out, especially if you're pulling a trailer, as they offer both gas and diesel.

I've visited numerous Pilot/Flying J locations, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. The staff is polite and welcoming, and the restrooms and showers are well-maintained. I even saw a manager cleaning up the grounds and touching up the paint on the curbs, which is impressive. Overall, it's a fantastic stop!

They offer a diverse selection that includes hot meals, packaged cold food, coffee, a soda fountain, souvenirs, truck accessories, work attire, and much more.
