Contribute Feedback What Samuel Patton likes about El Jarrito Mexican Grill:
The chips and salsa were quite enjoyable and notably better than average for the area. I ordered the Steak Street Tacos, and they were outstanding. The steak was flavorful and tender, which is not common in many Mexican restaurants. It seemed like steak is one of their specialties, based on the menu.
Would I return? Absolutely! I'm looking forward to bringing my wife to see what she thinks, as we both love Mexican... View all feedback.
What Michelle Powell doesn't like about El Jarrito Mexican Grill:
The salsa was delicious, but the service was somewhat slow due to several large groups coming in after church. The group next to us had at least 20 people and they were so noisy that we could barely hear ourselves talk. The food was decent, though a bit overpriced. View all feedback.
The salsa was delicious, but the service was a bit slow due to a few large church groups. The group we were seated near had at least 20 people and they were so loud that it was hard to hear our own conversation. The food was decent overall.
I was seated quickly, but it took a few minutes to receive the chips and salsa and for someone to take my order. There didn’t seem to be many staff working on that Friday night, which could explain the slower service. However, I think a lot of the regular customers have moved to their new location. The chips and salsa were quite enjoyable—definitely above average for the area. I ordered the steak street tacos, and they were excellent. The steak was flavorful and tender, unlike what you typically find at most Mexican restaurants. It seems they take pride in their steak dishes. Will I return? Absolutely! I can’t wait to bring my wife to see what she thinks; we both love our Mexican food.
So they visit this restaurant for the first time, I am from georgia. ciara is our server and I ask her for drinks specialties. ciara tells me they only get a free margarita. so I and my mom ordered one since she was on my ticket. we ordered our food and it wasn't the best. I love mexican and I? eat in many Mexican restaurants and by far it was the worse. what made it even worse is at the end, ciara tells us that the special pro person is. I'm so good you didn't say that first and since I got my mom on my ticket that's my second drink. then she tells the manager and he tries to explain, then he tells us that he is for plastic goods. I'm like hm, then he says they're not. then ciara brings out the bill and never asked if we were together or separated. then the bill has a service fee and I ask what?s that for them said for the use of a credit card, but again, that has not been forwarded and how do they know that we have a credit card? oh and to overbid it, she tells me that she was a server there for 2 years, anddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd overall the customer service was terrible and the food was not good. I'm not going to be important!
The Javy special was a generous portion, enough to feed three people. The steak was fantastic, and the shrimp was sweet and delightful! However, I would recommend skipping the duck ribs, as they weren't very good.
Service mediocre at best. Food decent but for the price I expected better though presentation was great your food should follow. I ordered the ribeye medium rare came well done. Once a party showed up we never saw our waiter again and we saw him twice. Not the worst it was good but for the price your money could be better spent elsewhere
