Sam's Southern Eatery (russellville)

Very nice and clean. Fast service with great food. The Sam's Special is so good with the red beans and rice. And ya can't go wrong with the fried pickles! Nice clean restrooms. The servers was very tentative and nice. Not bad pricing for the amount of food. The shrimp poboy is outstanding as well.

Wow oh wow. Today was our first visit and we were totally blown away. The service was great. Mandy was our server and was so friendly and attentive. The food came fast and it was amazing. Fantastic. Seriously the other seafood place in town better step up. The fish fillets were substantial pieces not thin strips. Perfectly cooked and so flavorful. I could go on but everything was perfect. So flavorful and not greasy at ALL. Definitely a new favorite stop.

Fantastic experience. This was an unexpected stop on our vacation, but I'm glad we stopped. Excellent seafood experience. I will never forget this place. Thank for your hospitality.

I gave Sam's this rating mostly because of the nice staff. They were friendly and accommodating. The food just didn't measure up. We both had catfish and I'm not sure what happened but it was just bad. I don't know if it was the cook we were there on a Sunday) or they were cooking with old oil.....????. I'm astounded at the other reviews suggesting it was the best food ever. We either had a one off event, the other reviewers have a vested interest in the place or they just don't get out much????.

This place is amazing?.food and staff. The fish, fried pickles, and onion rings are excellent. The pieces of fish are extremely large, but excellent?no fishy taste at all. It?s gonna cost about $20 per person, but this place is well worth it! My wife and I eat here all the time and have never eaten anything here that we did not enjoy. Everything we have gotten off their menu has been excellent.
