Eagles Den - Rusk

This was the 2nd. Visit this facility... I'll say I'm not sure where the bad reviews came from. This restaurant was just what I expected from a small town of East Texas food. The dining room was clean, the tables were clean. The waitress was quick and efficient. Knew the menu and gave recommendations for our order. So, on the food, look at the menu and look at the prices. I have no longer seen reasonable prices for the size shares you receive in a LONG time. The parts were huge. The beef on the burgers was delicious. The onion rings were great. Cold drinks were refilled without demand. Try this place. You'll love it!

This restaurant is just what you would expect from a picturesque little East Texas café. You don't stop at such a place when you're in a hurry, even though we never had to wait long for our food. This is the kind of place where the locals meet, eat and talk about the emerging high school sports stars and how the weather influences their ranch. It is a whole cultural experience. The burgers do not disappoint, the onion rings are homemade. Everything's great!

They make a really good Burger, Fritten and Onion ring. The baked potatoes on Wednesday look forward to the day of humiliation! And these prices are so reasonable. This must be the best secret in Rusk, Texas!
