Please take a look at my photos. It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but my ham steak completely dwarfed the plate it was served on! The ham itself was half an inch thick and absolutely enormous! It made my portion of potatoes look tiny, even though I had a generous serving of them. This food was so delicious and was every time I visited. Each dish is made of scratches and the serving sizes are generous. This is like a family member who likes to cook for you, dishes such as Swiss steak, potatoes Maische and Gravy and green collars, or salmon patties, cheese potatoes, and green beans with bacon. The table behind me ordered a delicate sandwich, and it was massive! You also have a wall of cake to choose. I always look forward to eating there!
Had excellent Swiss Steak Manhattan today with freshbuttered corn. Yum!
Comfy Small town restaurant with great customer service.. j ordered this yummy chicken salad on a crescent w onion rings and loaded potato soup and it was AMAZING! Everything about it. Also they have a great BBQ ribs special on Thursdays and they are delish! My husband and I love em.. they also have the sweetest waitresses/staff that make the experience a pleasure.
Always Excellent! Big portions, always hot! Waitress Tracy is the bomb. Remembers my drinking my choice Lemmon Merange pie. Gonna miss that place. Its the only decent place to eat in Rushville. Their closing 12/4 21
The food was large portions and was reasonable price but it just wanted very tasty to me. The server we had was also not very friendly and seemed forgetful. However the place was packed so obviously other people like it here
