We are so lucky to have this fabulous restaurant on our doorstep. The food is so flavoursome and authentic, its simply superb, highly recommend.

My first visit here. Friendly staff, efficient service. Delicious Curry Goat, Rice and Peas. Will definitely return soon!

We’ve lived in Aldershot for three years and for some insane reason, this is the first time we’ve eaten at taste buds and oh my god, we’re now kicking ourselves for not having been sooner! Absolutely amazing food. We had the jerk chicken meal which comes with rice, peas and salad and the ribs with extra chips and every single morsel was fantastic. Will now be returning frequently. Excellent value for money too, and lovely service.

I finally got round to trying Going to Tastebuds after hearing about it a while ago! Well! It’s safe to say I will now be a regular customer and the guys will soon enough know my order and have it ready before I even get there to place the order ! I grew up with my nans Jamaican cooking but she sadly passed away too soon and I didn’t get her recipes ! The food I had from here on Friday took me right back to happy days !!! The lady who runs it is so lovely and the chef was just making me laugh , all I could hear was his sing song patois and when a plate dropped his voice from the back of the kitchen “ y’uh a ju’s come e’re an mashup “…….. hilarious !! I had the curry goat, plantain, and got myself some ackee and saltfish my favourite breakfast)…. And my god !! Perfection !!! Let’s not forget the coleslaw too…… next time I’m going to mix it up and try the fried chicken and maybe the brown fish !…… can’t wait ! Get your backsides there if you enjoy good food and a warm welcome with a homely feel with lovely people !!!! Jah’

What a mint find! Having come from London where there are quite a few Carribean Food restaurants to eat at, this was stumbled on by my daughter...OMG Our happiness! If we fancy an authentic, delicious meal this is our go to now. Everything we have ordered has been spot on! Sometimes there is a queue but it's worth the wait. Good things always are! Kelly at the front of house is a charming, beautiful soul and the chef is in the back playing great choons whilst he creates his amazing meals. You can dine in or takeaway. It has a Carribean cafe vibe. Goat curry is one of my favourite curries and from Taste Buds I find it spot on! Try it, you won't be disappointed for sure!
