Contribute FeedbackAt Oscar’s, the culinary experience is a blend of well-cooked dishes and occasional lapses in execution. While the breakfast options, including a full English, shine with quality and generous portions, some diners found certain items, like vegetables in pastas, lacking in preparation. The diverse menu offers beautiful presentations, particularly the salmon with asparagus, yet some may find prices steep for specific items. The service is generally praised for its politeness and attentiveness, though some guests faced issues with billing. With its welcoming atmosphere, Oscar’s remains a popular choice for casual dining, albeit with room for improvement.
Came for a meal and drinks with my family Tuesday night. The experience was 5 star. Brilliant service, lovely staff and the food was to die for. Would totally recommend the beeches burger! I will be defiantly be coming again and will be recommending the beeches restaurant to all Of my Friends! Great atmosphere great food and great staff what else could you possibly want ! Thankyou
I fancied a vegetarian meal. They had a gnocchi dish on the menu. The gnocchi was chewy and the veg barely cooked. I took it back and changed it for a vegetable biriyani. This came with a popadom dripping in oil and a bowl of rice mixed with similar veg to the gnocchi dish. The staff were sympathetic to my complaints but looked genuinely surprised by my description of the shortcomings. I find it hard to believe anyone in the Midlands has not had a biriyani or knows what a papadum should look like.
Went for Sunday lunch, can heartily recommend it. Diners can use parking behind hotel (free) good choice of menu ,as well as in week
I'm doing a bit of travelling at the moment and seem to be becoming a bit of a connoisseur on breakfasts and this on didn't disappoint. 2 of sausage, egg and bacon. Beans, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and toast. All good quality and well presented. Stuffed now but content.
Nice food nicely presented bit price £14 for burger but chicken pieces not flat burger as you would expect all meals £13 upwards gammon and egg or pineapple advertised but asked if needed both so said yes then on bill been charged for £1 for egg and pineapple? But seem to be busy some nights more than others
