What travellover64 doesn't like about Indian Nights:
Really disappointed has the chef changed?? We ordered a takeaway as hadn’t tried one for a while and had previously loved this place. Onion bargee nice, kebabs tasted odd. Food very dry in spite of sauce. Pickle tray rubbish no lime pickle, no mango chutney, red sauce nothing like it used to be and the onion/tomato relish not a relish at all just big chunks of raw onion. We have never had a bad meal here (until now)... View all feedback.
The restaurant review praises the fantastic service provided by the highly respected Hammid. The reviewer chose seekh kebabs as a starter, which were customized with fresh chili and coriander, and described them as fantastic. They also enjoyed the homemade chili yogurt sauce that accompanied the kebabs. For their main course, they ordered a simple chicken madras and lamb handi, which they described as superb, thick, unctuous, and full of flavor. The reviewer highly recommends trying the dishes, noting that the chef has 35 years of experience and creates dishes with endless flavor.

In my experience, the best Indian meals I've ever had have all been from Indian Nights, and I hope that continues for a long time to come.
My friend and I went to this restaurant on Saturday night and were surprised to find that their prices were higher than those at MemSaab in Nottingham, a well-known Indian restaurant frequented by the Indian cricket team. We ordered the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh to compare them with the same dishes at MemSaab, but Indian Nights fell short. The Butter Chicken was swimming in a bowl full of sauce and resembled more of a soup than a curry. The Lamb Rogan Josh was mediocre at best. If you're going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver top-quality food, which Indian Nights failed to do. Our main dishes were brought out at different times, showing a lack of organization in the kitchen. The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that the staff were polite, but we won't be returning.
I really like this restaurant and I have always enjoyed my food here. . I would recommend eating here
We've been using Indian Nights for years as the service has always been good and the food excellent. We've had the same consistent quality eating in or takeaway but, sadly, this evenings experience was totally different. We ordered the Chefs Special Set Menu to take away because I cannot eat anything too hot or spicy. The staff were running around like mad things and all seemed confusion so it wasn't until we got home that we realised we'd been given the Indian Nights Special Set Menu which was, for me,totally inedible. I hate wasting food but, despite my best efforts, I had to throw mine away and even my partner, who likes spicy food was unable to eat all of his. So disappointing. I think we'll have to find somewhere else for our takeaway from now on.
