This was a fun place to stay. Having the restaurant downstairs was very convenient, the staff there was delightful. We really enjoyed the patio and front porch. I would have enjoyed our stay much more if they hadn't had air fresheners plugged into all the outlets. I had a raging headache the first night we stayed there from the artificial fragrance. Unfortunately we did not have a bath mat in our bathroom and the til... View all feedback.
What Michelle Stuart doesn't like about Grant House Eatery:
This is more like an Airbnb, no staff on site. We stayed in Room 4 which was rumored to have some spiritual activity. We saw/heard nothing which was a bummer... The shower, large fridge, customer service prior to stay and beds were great. This room is two stories up from small town highway intersection which was often very loud. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I enjoyed my stay so much I had to do it. We stayed in the Wilder's Suite and it was one my favorite places I've ever stayed. The bed was huge and supremely comfortable, the TV had a roku hooked to it so we could sign into our streaming services and watch whatever we wanted, the decor of the room was very cozy and welcoming. To top it off the bathroom was super cute. It even had a nice big tub in it so my wife could enjoy a relaxing bath. If we are ever in the area again we will be staying here no question.
Our waitress was amazing and the food was very good. My ****** Mary with bacon infused vodka was delicious! We didn't stay just ate at The Fort.
Went here for a paranormal investigation. The hotel is a beautiful building and has plenty of history. Fantastic atmosphere in the building.
We had a wedding in Rush City and this hotel was only 4 minutes away, which was great. It's a super cool hotel that is over 100 years old. They have the rooms set up old fashion, but nicely renovated. Each room is unique and super cute. They have a small coffee bars on the 2nd floor and a sitting area with a fridge on the first floor. There is no elevator. This is a self check-in hotel, so you have to have door codes to even enter. Your communication is over email or phone. We really enjoyed our stay here would stay again.
Was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were awesome. I stayed in room 2 and had a wonderful time. It was like you were back in the early 1900 's. With a newer amenities. Would recommend and lol Mabel 's was amazing food cooked with love and was well priced probably less than it could be I hope tonsaty there again.
