Unfortunately, the flavors were mild and everything seemed to blend together, lacking the vibrant taste typically found in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine—there wasn't even a hint of spice. Many traditional spices that contribute to the unique flavor profile of Sri Lankan food were noticeably absent. The only dish that stood out with genuine flavor was the aubergine salad. It's a shame that they chose to modify the dishes for a different market rather than serving authentic flavors. The restaurant had great potential to be exceptional, but it falls short. By paying more attention to current trends and the demand for authentic cuisine that captures the true essence of Sri Lankan food, they could create a memorable dining experience rather than the forgettable one we encountered.
