Landhaus Schaaf - Runkel

We just drove by and found this restaurant hotel on the local map. The staff was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The traditional German beer tasted very well and the carving was even better! The ice cream was also delicious. The owner told us that many people come to walk or bicycle in the neighborhood. Also the house made meat you can buy in the small shop is very good! We'll be back.

I was in the guest house and ate in the restaurant, the food and service was excellent. Make sure to try the local Boar specialty court.

This is a local restaurant near where we live. For so many years we have enjoyed it and when friends visit us, this is our standard to go with them. But it is definitely not the same every time. You can have bad experiences though it is very rare, but it can happen. But usually nothing is wrong here. And if it's good, it's far beyond everything else.

Ein ruhig gelegenes Hotel, ganz nach dem Landhaus Stil. Zimmer sind Ok und sauber. Lediglich die rosa Wände in dem Zimmer wirken nicht so schön.Auf alle Wünsche wurde eingegangen, sehr freundlich, Abendessen gut, Frühstück sehr gut - besser als in den meisten Hotels.
