Fromagerie Rumson - RUMSON
Fromagerie Rumson
Description
The restaurant under review seems to have a mix of positive and negative aspects based on customer feedback. While some diners praised the food quality and atmosphere, others were disappointed with the service they received. Issues ranged from slow service, poorly cut appetizers, and a lack of attention to detail in serving customers. Despite the mixed reviews, the restaurant is located in a beautiful area and offers a great food and drink selection, making it worth considering for a visit.

Not their best performance. I ordered a bottle of wine and waited 25 minutes, only to find out they were chilling it. The food was decent, but it didn't meet the standards of my previous visits. Hopefully, the new format they’re introducing in three weeks will help improve things.
My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary, and everything was fantastic. Our waitress, Sofia, was wonderful, and the tableside carving of the Tomahawk steak was a highlight. It was truly a memorable experience. Don't miss the French twist martini—Bridget, the bartender, really knows how to make it! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
I had a reservation for Saturday at 7, but when I arrived, the restaurant was closed. There were no signs or notifications to explain why. It was definitely unexpected.
The food and service were outstanding! The dining atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried. We had the cod and osso buco, and both dishes were truly delicious.
Additionally, the food at the buffet was not labeled, so you had to guess what each dish was. There was no structured system for accessing the buffet, resulting in all tables rushing at once and creating a jam in the hallway that made it difficult for waitstaff to navigate. Furthermore, it was disappointing that beverages like coffee, juice, and tea weren't included in the already overpriced brunch; they were additional costs that were not mentioned upfront. Overall, if you're looking for a pleasant brunch experience, I would recommend skipping this one. You might have better luck trying them out for lunch or dinner.
