We visited here many times during our 2 weeks stay, and ate a variety of things: lunch, sandwiches, breads, pastries and cakes. The staff is amazing, and 2 ladies remembered me last year!! This looks very modern and inviting from the outside with large windows, nice lighting and ample seating. However, when we arrived around lunchtime we found the restaurant incredibly disorganized. It was difficult to understand how to order the food. The menu was on a lit board but it kept changing. There was no organized line or numbers so that customers could be served in any order. An amazing little place and an absolute must if you're in Ruhpolding. Bakery/cafe with a great selection of sandwiches, burgers and drinks. Stars of the show though undoubtedly the cakes. They all look amazing and I've been gradually working my way through them. You won't be disappointed !!! It's a very busy place but that's for a reason. This place rocks.
Amazing - what can I say that hasn't already been said?! A feast for the eyes awaits you - if you're ever in Ruhpolding make sure you make at least one visit and expect to put on a couple of pounds! The building sits in the centre of town near to the train station - what a fantastic design lots of wood with a mixture of tradition and sleek contemporary seating areas, friendly helpful staff, lots of choice of cakes and breads and all at reasonable prices. This is what is needed in the UK.
It was hard to stay away from this place. Numerous breads and cakes to die for. This is a very large coffee house on two floors and also tables outside which was busy any time we went and no wonder. The cakes were huge and not expensive. Try it out, you won't be dissapointed .
Wonderful building (attraction all by itself) and good pastry and bread, you can also enjoy a lunch meal, really nice place for a break.
Wow what a choice of cakes and bread. The portions are huge and the cakes tasty. My wife and children loved the cakes.
