Established in 1991, Wilda’s began as a part-time venture by two lifelong friends and Wilda, Kevin’s mum, selling jacket potatoes from a car park in Coventry. What started as a humble stall soon grew, taking Wilda’s to markets and events across the country. Today, Wilda’s proudly operates from three shops in Coventry and Rugby. Famous for our jacket potatoes with a wide variety of delicious fillings, we also offer Mash Pots with your choice of filling, hearty Cottage Pies, Roast Pork batches (a Coventry favourite), alongside rolls or cobs for anyone from further afield. Our menu also features Combination Salads, Filled Potato Skins, Garlic Bread, refreshing Milkshakes, and more. For those looking for convenient options, our Snack Pots range from 240g individual meals to party-sized 2.5kg options, with meal choices including Chilli Con Carne, Chicken Curry, Steak and Onions, Bolognese, Madras Curry, Mince and Vegetables, and Spicy Sausage. We also cater thoughtfully for our vegetarian customers. At Wilda’s, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards and recognise there’s always room to improve. A few coworkers and I went out for lunch at this restaurant with a colleague who had never been before. We were all impressed with our meals and the staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly. It's rare to find a team of employees who are all so welcoming and genuinely happy to serve you. I highly recommend trying the Christmas meal here. Although I had planned on ordering my usual bangers and mash or jacket potato with cheese and beans, the Christmas meal was a pleasant surprise and tasted amazing!
The Yorkshire puddings at this restaurant were exceptional! The staff was welcoming and the overall experience was amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place. It had been some time since my last visit, but it was just as fantastic as I had remembered.
Yesterday, I enjoyed a tasty stuffed baked potato at this restaurant. It had been some time since my last visit, and I had forgotten how big the portions were. There are plenty of fillings to choose from, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians. The roasted potatoes were also very well done. The service is consistently welcoming and fast.
Been here numerous times and staff are fantastic and they do the best chilli and jacket potatoes . Have had smoothies too which are equally nice and freshly made . Parking is sometimes bit difficult near by but can park down side street and small walk
We drove by Wilda’s today with no plan of stopping but I am soooo glad we did!! My husband had the giant Yorkshire filled with roast beef and the trimmings. He thought it was so good and really hit the spot on this chilly day. Everything in it was delicious!! I had the jacket potato with chilli and cheese and it was perfection. Thank you Wilda’s for such a delicious meal and you have definitely gained two new customers! I’ll tell everyone I know about this.
