While traveling through Rugby on February 25, 2023, on our way to Minot, we stopped at a gas station to ask for a good coffee recommendation. We specifically drove across town to get a cup from this coffee shop, which turned out to be a big mistake. I ordered a large black coffee, but when I took a sip back on the road, I found it to be absolutely dreadful. It tasted bizarre, almost like it had cherry flavoring in it. I ended up tossing the coffee out the window and throwing the cup in the trash. I called the shop, and the girl on the phone informed me that they had flavored coffee, which she had unknowingly given me. I've never encountered a coffee shop that assumes they can serve flavored coffee without checking with the customer first. I would have preferred gas station coffee over what this place provided. It was just awful.
