This wine-growing business with its wine-sale of its own wines was rather a coincidence. On the one hand, it was a true pleasure to experience a very favorable price level over the Tourie prices in Rüdesheim, then it turned out that the prices for the quality of the dishes and wines offered were more than just made. The wines could be tested on the cosy terrace for small money. The interior of the restaurant was also very appealing. In an adjacent storage room you could then (free, which is not the rule! not only taste the wines of the card, but also other locations and varieties in peace and was competently advised by the boss. Top class and absolute recommendation! Logically, in this type of locals one does not receive complete menus, but rather snacks and home cooking, which were very tasty and quite lush.

Diese Weinwirtschaft mit angeschlossenem Weinverkauf eigener Weine war eher ein Zufallsfund. Einerseits war es eine wahre Freude, gegenüber den "Tourie-Preisen" in Rüdesheim hier ein überaus günstiges Preisniveau zu erleben, dann stellte sich noch heraus, dass die Preise für die Qualität der angebotenen Gerichte und Weine mehr als grechtfertigt waren. Die Weine konnte man/frau somit für kleines Geld schon einmal auf der gemütlichen Terrasse testen. Auch das Innere des Lokals war vom Ambiente sehr ansprechend. In einem angrenzenden Lagerraum konnte man/frau dann (gratis, was durchaus nicht die Regel ist!) nicht nur die Weine der Karte, sondern auch andere Lagen und Sorten in Ruhe probieren und wurde dabei vom Chef kompetent beraten. Spitzenklasse und unbedingte Empfehlung!Logischerweise erhält man/frau in dieser Art von Lokalen keine kompletten Menüs, sondern eher Snacks und "Hausmannskost", welche aber sehr schmackhaft und durchaus üppig waren.

Den Schönen Michel findet Ihr in Aulhausen ein sogenannter Stadtteil von Rüdesheim . Wer guten Rotwein schätzt sollte sich diesen Ort und den Michel nicht entgehen lassen. Aber auch der Winzer König ist sehr zu schätzen. Von hieraus kommt Ihr auch zum Niederwald Denkmal entweder mit dem Auto oder zu Fuß durch den Wald. Vom Denkmal aus habt Ihr einen tollen Blick über die Weinberge und den Rhein . Ihr findet in Aulhausen Hauptstraße 50bei Wittig auch eine tolle saubere Unterkunft super Frühstück und nette Gastleute.
