This restaurant really impressed us with quality and variety of food. It wasn't just your normal German food but rather a true gourmet offering. We liked it so much, we found it hard to try others in town. Highly recommended. View all feedback.

An excellent family-run restaurant. the food is prepared by the owner and is of very high quality.
The dining room is very interesting - escape everywhere. the menu is also quite strongly aligned to escape, but there is a good choice of options. I recommend her suppen. a companion had the deenconfit he called very good. the service was very friendly and efficient. the wee were good.
In Brühl’s hotel trapp is also the restaurant Christel’s entenstube. we had carving and carrots. it was excellent. for a slumber drink, we had to have a flaming coffee in any case. the waitress brings coffee, schnapps, sugar and fire. she lights the sugar and alcohol fire at her table and completes it with coffee and looked. it was fantastic, both in the presentation and in a very unique antique looking cup in ceramic vases style. the staff and service are grounded, in English (jenna is sweet and loves American) and finished. the restaurant is like the adjacent hotel dedicated to the thema ente. when they return their acknowledgement, a small ceramic ente is included. excellent restaurant in every view, beautifully decorated, fully equipped bar, private group room. loved the hotel and restaurant.
After a walk through the city we have selected this restaurant for the menu at the door. it was a good choice. we felt guilty that we had not made the escape options heavier, but decided for the Entenconsomme appetizer as compromise. it was good, just like the free pastet/dip with fresh full grain bread that belonged to it. an Argentinean (why for heaven's sake Argentinean?) steak and a white carving each with a mixed leaf salad. both were properly prepared, delicate and tasty. the steakist got pommes frites and the carvings saute new kartoffels. there was a small vegetable set to appease possible Veggie-Fünfte columnists. a bottle of reddish late burgunder flushed everything down. it was an interesting wee, not a known one, and the best vintage will never be sold for a thousand dollars in the city, but it was an authentic local guide to eat for 25 €. there was nothing to complain. the maitresse d 'was with its helpful and multilingual commentary on the ball, the atmosphere was just right for the full Rheingau experience and eating was well prepared and well presented. anatidaephobes could find all this a bit much, with all the duckabillia this girlande the place, but for us it was well-designed 80 €. (a damned look better value than a similar sum, which was spent two days before in brighton harvester grill for a 4-2-familynesses, which was consumed by glacier deliveries and burned hamburgers).
