Dropped off in Ruedesheim as a part of a day trip, looked around for a relaxed looking place for lunch and came across the Bromserhaus cafe. Being a group of six we found a table much easier than expected with no delays. The waitress gave us a warm welcome and did not delay in taking our drinks order and giving us menus. We were there for Rüdesheimer Cafe, which was good. Nice place to sit and have a coffee. I can not say same for ice-cream. Nothing was special.
The ice cream looked delicious and the service was excellent. The taste was not as good as it looked, but we managed to finish it anyway! Next time, I will try another spot.
Having not found anywhere with availability for dinner we stumbled across this place it looked OK from the outside and they had space. They do however allow smoking in the outer dining area and the rear dining area, where we sat, was a bit souless. The food we had was just OK, but certainly nothing to write home about, but the service was pleasant enough.
We enjoy to go there while we are at Rüdesheim, for lunch, dinner or just for a Rüdesheimer coffee. Always good service, fresh and tasty food,
Popped in some Ruedesheimer coffee and spaetzle. Enjoyed both with a beautifully made tossed salad with a light dressing. The service, the view of the crowds on a sunny day, and the friendly waiter were great. The spaetzle with bacon and the vegetarian versions were both excellent. Reasonable prices too.
