A great spot for adults to relax with a drink while keeping an eye on the kids as they play.
What a great venue. whether you're there during the day for a gorgeous walk, Attending a sports event, playing tennis or even buying Christmas trees in the season, or in the evening for a wedding, birthday or other evening event the Heat has you covered. The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.Definitely one of Royston's hidden gem's
I haven't visited for drinks in a while, but the staff is always friendly, and they welcome dogs. The heath is a lovely spot to take a walk or simply relax.
Working at Royston on a Friday makes for a nice end to the week, especially when I can enjoy a beer after work. There's often discussion about where to go for a drink since there are cheaper alternatives like the Manor House (Wetherspoon). The common complaint is about the price—£5.20 a pint! However, I can confidently say it's worth every penny; they pour a fantastic pint, and I've never had a bad one! They offer a great selection of beers, including Adnams and BrewDog, to name a few. This past Friday, we indulged in seven different slices of cake, all of which were delicious. The bartender does an excellent job, and on sunny days, it's lovely to sit outside with the Heath as a backdrop. I happily give it 5 stars!
