I've eaten Queen at 120 places in 9 states and that's my favorite. There were several who were almost good. Bands are the best, but the pulled pig is also excellent. they drag several sauces. The beans and in-law are also good. Stew is very good. Try it. View all feedback.
What Susan Long doesn't like about Vanna Country B Que:
We've heard that the bbq at Vanna's is the best. The food was ok. Service was good. The bbq sauce is like colored water, not good. If we would have seen the health food score we would have not eating there. It's kinda of hidden. You can't see it till you're checking out, 74 is not good at all. It's not the worst bbq in the area but hey great either. Probably would not return. View all feedback.
I'm a first time customer and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a big smile ?. I had a wonderful experience with all the staff I encountered. My food was made quickly, so the wait time was very short. I had about a 15 minute ride back home and my food was still warm. I ordered the rib plate with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and the prices are great also. I shall return again and thank you for a wonderful experience ?
After 3 years of driving by this place I finally stopped in today .We ordered a pork bbq plate and a beef brisket plate. The sides we chose were loaded baked potatoes, slaw ,and stew which were all very good. The pulled pork was adequate and average. Not bad but not great.. The 3 table sauces were ok but lacked distinct variation of flavors.. I had read many reviews of the delicious brisket served here . I 've cooked 500 briskets but today I 'm positive I was served bland roast beef. No smoke,no bark,no nothing A disappointment but it was edible. With the cost of brisket these days it is difficult for restaurants to keep on the menu. Keri Ann ,our server ,was very pleasant and attentive. We will certainly dine here again.
Vanna Country BBQ in Vanna, GA is a hidden gem that deserves to be on every BBQ lover’s radar! The food is excellent, with a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. Their large BBQ sandwich stands out as the best value on the menu. While the decor is simple, it's clean and functional. The owners clearly prioritize what matters most: outstanding food and friendly service. The warm atmosphere makes you feel right at home. This place is so good, you'll find yourself planning your weekends around their limited hours they're only open Fridays and Saturdays. Trust me, it's worth the wait and the drive. Vanna Country BBQ proves that sometimes the best food is found off the beaten path.
Good people great food! Probably the best bbq around royston hartwell area hands down!
Vanna can be a great place to eat but every experience is different. Recently the staff seems disorganized, inattentive and can never remember who ordered what and you always have to seek them out to get refills on drinks as they hang out in the kitchen. Its obvious they receive no training. Recently the quality of the food has taken a nosedive and is not what it used to be under previous management as we did not finish our brisket as it was dry and tough and the chicken was tough, lacked any flavor and was raw inside.
