My Australian wife discovered this restaurant and we decided to give it a try. As Americans, we found the food to be absolutely delicious. My wife felt like she was eating a meal from home. Whether you're from Australia craving a taste of home or an American wanting to try something new, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The journey and the money spent are well worth it. I can confidently say that the moment I stepped foot in this restaurant, I knew it was top-notch. The Ned Kelly Pie was absolutely amazing. Having cooked for six years and baked fresh bread for Theo, I can say that this place is genuine! Congratulations. View all feedback.
I and my friend loved the senf hot dog and rosmarin lambs! this place was a breath of fresh air with nice staff. I would highly recommend checking it.
Happy to celebrate Australia Day 1/26/2022 with pies by True Blue. This is a popular bakery especially today. The bakery is clean and the staff are wonderful. The items I had hoped to buy (Lamb-Rosemary and Ned Kelly) were sold out so I enjoyed the Beef-Mushroom pie instead. My favorite is the Lamb-Rosemary. Unfortunately, my husbands order was wrong. He wanted the chicken veggie pie but received the Aussie pie instead. We didn’t discover the error until we got home but ate it anyway. The Anzac cookie (oatmeal coconut) was crispy and very good. I suggest getting there early or order online to ensure you get the pie you most enjoy. We will be back.
DElicious treats! Perfect addition to our evolving Main Street. My favorite thing so far is the sausage roll but I’m sure it’ll constantly change with the seasons!
We experienced them first at a food truck festival. It was freezing cold outside and the line was 50 people long… we waited since it was the reason we went. I can say that I now understand why there was such a wait. We actually spent some time in line with a few Aussies who were also willing to wait, that says something! We are ecstatic that they now have a local shop and we don’t have to venture the cold for the same delectable eats. The pies are fresh and crispy and can be bought hot or frozen to cook later. They have a variety of options, my wife and I like all of them, but her favorite is the lamb and rosemary. We have only had the meat pies so far but look forward to trying some of the other options.
Was craving an Aussie meat pie and lamington and drove out from the Philly area to check this place out. Cool shop and the people were really friendly! I hopped back in the car to take my traditionals home and they smelled so good, I made it to the Starbucks that’s 1/2 mile away to pull over and eat two of them. So it’s 10:00am and I’m at the Starbucks parking lot writing a review about how awesome the meat pies are at True Blue. The only trick will be to try not to eat the other two I bought before I get home. Wish me luck.
