It had been a while since we had not returned, and so we had all the more fun, always a very nice, warm address, where we made a great trip to the Meeting with an explosion of flavors, all with always friendly and welcoming hosts. It won't take long to come back. The whole thing is bathed in super rum, of course. View all feedback.
What Joelle Myara doesn't like about Bar Restaurant L'o De Source 974:
Despite opening hours on the site announcing an opening from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., we were turned away at 1:30 p.m. on a Friday lunchtime when only one table was occupied no problem, we were greeted with a smile a little further on. View all feedback.

We discovered this service provider in 2019, during the Cournon fair and, fans of Reunionese cuisine, we wanted to test it as a restaurant. Since then, COVID and its restrictions have been there. Also, this restaurant is only open in winter. The other 3 seasons, he migrates to Saint-Remy-sur-Durolle where the services are more like a summer snack. Finally, we finally managed to book. The room is small, friendly and very typical of Reunion Island. The manager, waiter, boss, former French soldier in Madagascar in the end we don 't really know anymore presents us with the dishes and wines on the menu. A bit expensive for the place! Our choices are a plate of starters to share €24 : the word sharing needs to be reviewed, everything comes in pairs except for 1 single Creole pudding which sits in the center of the plate; given the price there could have been 2. Then a sausage rougail for me and a chicken carry for Madame: concerning the rougail, 2 kinds of sausages, 1 smoked logical for a rougail , the other ordinary and much less tasty with seeds and rice as an accompaniment 24€ . For the carry, sorry but the chicken was NOT COOKED 22€ . The price of the wines available is exorbitant, between €30 and €50 for metro wines Côte de Blaye or Pic-Saint-Loup . Cilaos wine is no longer available... In the end, despite the vanilla rum offered, this restaurant, which is very, very far from being a 2*, does not deserve its reputation. Having known Reunion Island very widely, he is not representative of it. We came, we saw and tasted but we are not fully satisfied. The service provided for a total bill of €115 is not justified. Too bad it was a rare restaurant in this specialty in the area.
Perfect, super well received And we travel on the plate
In this quality Malagasy and Reunionese restaurant, Gilda and Pascal will welcome you in your living room and will take you on a journey to another universe. Be careful with Homemade Arranged Rums, they are excellent, but deadly!! I recommend and advise you to discover this establishment Remember that they are only open for the winter period, because it has a second summer establishment, so hurry up
