Despite some less-than-glowing reviews, we decided to try dinner. The staff were friendly and the mussels were excellent. The service was quick, but it felt more like they were just trying to free up a table as soon as possible. We enjoyed the meal, but the desserts are very expensive, no doubt due to the seaside location. The revisited tiramisu was nothing like a tiramisu at all. No coffee, no cake, and I 'm not even sure there was any mascarpone either. There was a lot of whipped cream, making it a very expensive dessert in the end.
The seafood platter was perfect. The aioli was excellent, and the seafood was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service was friendly and professional. The location was ideal.
Mixed feelings. The welcome and service were a bit odd; they weren't really attentive to our needs and didn't seem to know their own menu. A bottle of wine was simply placed in front of us—right in front of our noses, in our hands—in place of the dish that was about to arrive. The menu was small, but the meal itself wasn't very tasty.
