Shish Kabob Grill - Royal Oak

I meet with friends this great spot quite a bit! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is of high quality, the staff is welcoming and the rates are reasonable. I like meeting in this place for a decent meal.

This place constantly delivers. They have excellent dishes for affordable pricing, there no long wait even when they are full.

It felt like grabbing food at a convenience store. Most of the dishes were in a display cooler and could be reheated in a microwave. They also had some shawarma and kebab sandwiches that were freshly prepared. However, it was a unique experience compared to other kabob restaurants in the area.

My only experience at this restaurant was with the shawarma and garlic dish, and I was honestly quite disappointed. However, the rest of the food was good, so I will give it three stars, but truthfully I wanted to give it one star. The garlic sauce is basically just garlic mixed with mayonnaise, and if it's cold, you can't really taste it, but when it's warm, all you can taste is mayonnaise. The shawarma is quite plain, lacking any crispiness or toppings like pickles or tomatoes. The most overpowering flavors were garlic and pickles, which were not pleasant.

I adore the seafood at this restaurant – it's incredibly fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.
