Freshii - Royal Oak

True to its name, the food here always tastes incredibly fresh. It's the ideal spot when you're looking for a healthy, delicious, and satisfying meal.

One unusual thing about this place is that they serve your food in plastic bags for mixing, which feels a bit wasteful. I hope those bags are biodegradable. As for drinks, they offer fresh juices, sparkling water, and Argo tea. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. We even spoke with one of the owners, who was friendly and clearly enthusiastic about the restaurant. Oh, and just a heads up—it's quite warm inside, around 80 degrees, which is why the windows are fogged up!

I ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash for the first time, and I'm glad I gave it a shot. While I wasn't completely thrilled with the taste of my meal, it’s definitely one of the healthiest options available for takeout, which can be tough to find! The lid of the container did come loose during delivery, causing a bit of spillage, but it wasn't too bad, and DoorDash was helpful in addressing the issue. I'll definitely order from here again!

My only complaint is that they added rice to my meal even though I specifically requested no rice. Additionally, I asked for strawberries to be added to my smoothie, but they were left out, so I had to wait for everything to be remade. That was quite a hassle, and I feel like they should have offered me something for the inconvenience, but they didn’t. That said, I haven’t ordered anything that I didn’t enjoy. Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. I think they should consider expanding to Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, and Troy—there should really be a Freshii in every town. Thank you!
