Good service. Food was generally good. The plantain was dry but that gizzards and jollof were good.
This was such a fantastic place to try Nigerian/West African food for the first time! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu and the food was delicious. My friend and I, to quote the staff, jumped in the deep end for neverhaving tried Nigerian food by ordering stews with fufu so if you 're not super into trying new things and haven 't had thiscuisine before, I 'd say try something like the jollof rice. If you do like trying new things, however, totally go for the ewedustew with fufu (the green and red dish with chicken) and regardless, you should check this place out! Also, just to note, therestaurant does an automatic gratuity of 20% to split between kitchen and servers to make sure everyone 's being paid fairly.
Listen, I’ve spent time in Houston, Dallas, DC, New York and Atlanta so I’ve been to many Nigerian restaurants. Suya Joint is hands down the best Nigerian restaurant in the U.S. The service is great (thank you PamPam and Tameka! Amazingpeople! ….what’s even better is the food. Ahhh Olorun Oba o…you get your money’s worth. The serving size is simplyamazing. They are not stingy with the meat, soup or pounded yam. Look I’m writing the review while still at the restaurant. That’s how good this place is. If you don’t believe me, try it yourself. I can’t wait to come back!
Been here a few times now and just all around great. Service was friendly and prompt and our food came out quickly. Pictured is Beef egusi with pounded yam, jollof, plantain and fish stew. We also had gizdodo, meatpies, and beans everything was excellentand tasted freshly made. This is as authentic Nigerian food as you'll find anywhere in Massachusetts and maybe in the wholenortheast. Also wonderful was the atmosphere, owner and servers were busy throughout catering to the patrons, having a goodtime dancing and engaging with guests. Keep it up Suya Joint! You have my continued patronage. If i lived closer I'd be hereevery week!
THE BEST NIGERIAN FOOD IN THE COUNTRY!! I wanna rate them 10 stars cause the entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL! We were greeted with huge, warm smiles by the staff and the service was excellent though out!! PamPam was our server and she’s amazing!Friendly, warm and knows her menu well! I had the Ewudu with goat meat and pounded yam and it was THE BEST I’ve ever had inthe USA (and I eat Nigerian food regularly! My partner had the ogbono w/ goat meat and pounded yam and he ate everything up,(he’s a staunch Nigerian foodie who’s very particular about his food and he LOVED it! We also had puff puff and theappetizer sampler which was delicious too! Overall 10/10!!! We’ll be back!!!
