We came here because of the positive reviews. But we left early after sampling their chicken satay. Firstly it says 10 sticks on their menu but only 6 were served; not a problem for us because we left a few sticks untouched. Chicken satay is usually yellow due to the turmeric but ours was reddish and the sauce tasted more of Oyster sauce than peanut butter. They also insist they use butter and not margarine. I asked the waitress to double check because I was interested in ordering the mussels and fries. She said they use butter and even offered to show it. I agreed and she brought out some product that said butter something but also had premium margarine right below. Pass.

Dinersbakers has become my favorite place to unwind and enjoy quality time with friends. It's one of the few spots in BayBay where great music is played at any time, or not at all, allowing guests to set their own comfort level. The service is excellent, and I highly recommend it for a relaxing meal. Price per person typically ranges from ₱200 to ₱400.

This restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere and dedicated staff, but it desperately needs more patrons to succeed in this tough neighborhood, which isn't particularly enthusiastic about live music. However, I have faith that they will adapt and persevere. Valentine's Day wasn't perfect, but it was still enjoyable, with guests relishing delightful music from the 60s to 2010. A touch of jazz and some island tunes could elevate the experience, and they happily welcome song requests. We encourage everyone to come by for a delicious snack, a refreshing drink, an ice-cold beer, or whatever you fancy. The choice is yours, and we can't wait to welcome you!
