What Scottish Jerk doesn't like about The Bute Arms:
Small pub that was closed and falling to bits for a long time. Pub has had a full refurbishment and is snug but nice. Staff are great, but the food let's this place down (well at least when I visited). Had a quiche which was very small and burnt, put me right off my lunch. Part from that everything was OK. Had lovely family Sunday lunch here and it is certainly the best value we've had in a while. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, service was excellent, portions were generous and the food was lovely, with their yorkshires being outstanding.
