Ultima Spiaggia - ROVIGO

We were searching for a place to eat in this rather isolated part of the Veneto region. Totally unexpectedly we found ourselves in the only open restaurant in the area. What a great surprise! The best spaghetti alle vongole and gnocchetti ai frutti di mare that we had in the last year! very friendly staff and amazing atmosphere... ship models, musical instruments and warmth! Very recommended!!

The place from the outside looks like a normal house but as soon as you walk in, you can feel the warmth family style. We had the starter which was outstanding especially the crab bruschetta. The Spaghetti with clams as first course were a proper Italian family portion and very yummy. After that we took the grilled fish with salad. Very lovely, simple but yet delicious. It was my first time coming to this restaurant but certainly it won't be my last one. The staff is very friendly and I loved the fact that the atmosphere is very relaxed so you can enjoy the lovely wine and food in your own time. The price is reasonable especially for the type of portion and the freshness of the ingredients.

Excellent fish lunch with a huge variety of local fishes. We loved the eel in particular. The selection of fish starters was delicious and beautifully presented. The seafood risotto was extra special as the rice is the famous rice of the Po’, a different variety of rice, simply perfect for risotto. The grilled fish was delicious with a great selection and a large portion. Quaint location and charming decor. The owner and her staff are very welcoming and can answer any question about the area and its food. Highly recommended.
