Established and inaugurated in 1987, it has be... read more I had a wonderful experience at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rovereto, in the province of Trento. Established and inaugurated in 1987, it has been located in its current location on Corso Bettini since 2013, slightly off the street. Its striking structure features a dome open in segments, one of which is deliberately missing, demonstrating remarkable architectural ingenuity in its structural balance. The interior is a succession of open, bright spaces, with clean, essential lines, where glass, white walls, and steel define the overall look. On the top floor, the permanent exhibition, in my opinion, is the real highlight, with works by Carrà, Balla, Sironi, Depero, Campiglia, Morandi, De Chirico, and many others, as well as a gigantic Schifano with his Amare Chimeras. Other sections host high-quality temporary exhibitions. With the combined ticket, valid for two months from the date of issue, you can visit the Mart, the nearby Casa d 'arte futurista Depero, and the Galleria Civica in Trento. The bookshop is good but rather expensive. There 's a café inside and an elevator for people with reduced mobility. A highly recommended experience.
