We stopped here at an odd time for lunch (between a normal lunch and dinner hour) and made a request that was not on the menu but they were more than willing to accommodate. We had a very large, delicious platter of local meats (about 9-10 types) with pineapple and cantaloupe. It 's a stop for many cyclists, hikers and motorcyclists who come to the Val Chisone to get away from the city. The location is Villaretto, which is called a frazione (hamlet) of Roure, the nearest larger town (large being relative in this case). We paid 25 Euros for two very large servings, 2 small bottles of water and 2 coffees. Very good value to price ratio.

First welcome surprise: the Bar Roma di Villaretto di Roure has reopened! Second welcome surprise: it has become an interesting and cozy local kitchen ethnic dense with traditional tastes! So far we have gone twice taking the opportunity of full working lunches but very affordable price, and we will certainly return even if we do not live in the area. We also savored a particular dessert, the Baclava, which has also been delighted because it was carefully prepared. The dessert is like in the photo, with the almond above.
