What Paul G doesn't like about Casa Garcia's Round Rock:
Went to casa Garcia's Friday night in round rock for a birthday dinner with family. Service was poor, no bar tenders showed up to work. They were under staffed. We got crumbs for chips and had to ask for better chips. Server said the plate was hot when touched was barely warm and food was only warm. I should have had taken back to heat it up but didn't want to chance it . Food was just ok, wife had tacos and hardly a... View all feedback.
Went for happy hour and the server Simone was great. Food was hot fast and delicious. I like it here because never too busy and the staff works well together to accommodate guests when they are busy.Food: 4/5
This place used to be better. We moved from Round Rock to Georgetown a year ago. We used to go here often, but hadn't been here in quite a while. We were praying through and decided to get lunch. My wife ordered a bowl of soup and they brought out a cup. She explained the mix up and they fixed it. I ordered nachos with extra jalapeños and they didn't bring the extra jalapeños. I asked again, and they still hadn't brought them when I ran out, so I asked a third time and finally got them. The food was not as good as it used to be. We both lost our nostalgic longing for this restaurant and will probably not return.

My husband and I went to casa Garcia's on a Sunday at noon. It was really busy and they told us it might be 20 minutes before we were seated. We were fine with that although we were seated in about 10 minutes. Our waitress was amazing. This was our first time visiting Garcia's so our waitress recommended some choices for us. I had the carne guisada! It was amazing! I have never had meat so tender in carne guisada! The flavor was amazing! The corn tortillas are to die for! My husband had enchiladas with eggs on top. He love them! The salsa is yummy! We love our chips and salsa! The chips for very crispy! They have a lot of very traditional dishes. We will definitely be returning! We also tried their menudo! Oh yes it was amazing! They make posole September through March as well! We can't wait to go back, especially to try their breakfasts which are served all day! Thanks to William the GM and our waitress for all your hospitality!
I had the pork chop breakfast plate with H2O and a coffee. JP had a beef fajita omelet with H2O and diet Pepsi.I told our server, Stacy, that I needed my food to be less salty. And, the kitchen only seasoned my pork chops. They were the moistiest pork chops I've had.John thought his omelet was filled with too much cheese, but the beef fajitameat was good.We left most of our potatoes on the plate, so we'll substitute them out next time. Our neighbors all enjoyed Casa Garcias breakfast tacos.Overall, we had a good dine-in experience and look forward to trying new options on their menu next time.Vegetarian options: They have several options.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and can enjoy various items from the menu.Parking: If you are speeding, you'll miss the entrance.
