Was Anonym at Mayi Cafe a mag?
Amazing chicken wrap with avocado aioli, really fresh and large portion size. Also had super creamy choc milkshake. Highly recommend for lunch stop after a trip to the gorge. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Mayi Cafe:
Visited on 10th July 17 following a visit to the connecting Gorge, after making an order at the till with the waitress looking like she clearly didn't want to be there- we took a seat and waited for over 30 mins for a toastie. After approaching the waitress to ask how long the food will take, I was told I need to be "more patient and take a seat". A male waiter then checked my ticket number and told me it hadn't been... Wonderful food fabulous location. Beautiful fresh ingredients. Wraps are fresh made on site. Staffed by the local indigenous community. Do yourself a favor after the stunning scenery of Mossman gorge enjoy some lunch.
After walking the longer track we landed back at the interchange. Friendly, efficient staff tended to our order quickly pointing out that certain items were off the menu as it was well after 1 pm.Our pots of tea arrived quickly after we were seated followed later by our wraps. We had ordered 2 a ham and a beef one. Both were chock full of fresh appetising ingredients lots of sald and a very generous serving of the finely sliced meats. A well earned end to an interesting and enjoyable morning In the Mosman Gorge..
Scrummy locally sourced and produced cafe style meals. I had a delicious rainforest salad. Staff were all very friendly and efficient.
Abysmal, but maybe just a bad day. signs mention a menu on a front panel, but that was nowhere to find. coworkers seemed confused to be confused about this and even more confused (can be frightened) by the word vegan! there was almost nothing more in the refrigerator, kuchen warmer or counterfood (independent of the food needs.) please eat them before they come here or bring their own food. coffee was good, although perhaps only in comparison to the extremely low bar.
We spent the morning at Mossman Gorge and then had lunch at Mayi Café. Don't miss out on this delicious experience. We tried every cake and they were all amazing. The damper was also delicious. The staff were wonderful, making it a beautiful experience. Make sure to visit this place on your adventures.
