If you're looking for a budget-friendly option with great service and a warm welcome from the owners, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Not only are they overpriced, but I have personally witnessed how poorly Jorge and Nancy treat their staff. It speaks volumes about a business when the owners mistreat their own people. So many flavors to choose from. Friendly staff with samples available for any flavor. Amaretto cherry was BOMB!Mask order in place and well equipped for covid precautions.
As a middle-aged man who has lived in this area my entire life, I am pleased to see the diverse and inclusive changes happening in the community. La Michoacana adds another exciting element to this ever-evolving environment.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It seemed like they didn't care about gaining one more customer, as they refused to serve me when there were only a few minutes left until closing time. I understand that they were probably tired and wanting to go home, but I have always believed that the customer should come first. It was frustrating to see them ignore me, even when there were still five minutes left before closing. It was not a pleasant experience.
