El Rey Del Pollo Asado

It’s the second time I ordered chicken here and it’s not fresh and it’s hard and the fries were burnt! I called to let them know and the manager was very rude and didn’t believe me or want to fix the problem. Aside from the dry hard chicken and burnt fries the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were gross with no flavor and the Mac was runny. The last time the rice was bland and the beans had a plain taste which is why I didn’t go with those this time. I’d give that place no stars except I need to in order to write a review. It’s sad because the chicken has potential it’s the cheap inconsiderate people who run that place that ruin it. I’d stick to the one in PALATINE, the chicken at that one is always fresh and their sides have flavor!!! This place is a waste of money!

I would give this restaurant a 13 out of ten if I could, it's always amazing with fresh food. The best Torta I've ever had in my life! We absolutely love it here and come at least 5 times a week. It's made with so much love, and we can't get enough of it!

I had an incredible taco dinner at this restaurant! The beans were top-notch, and the chicken was amazing. I highly recommend it!

As a fan of El Pollo Loco, I have to say that this restaurant is just as good. I have visited the location in Waukegan and was impressed by the quality of their food. However, the increasing busyness of the restaurant has unfortunately led to occasionally undercooked chicken. I recently tried the Round Lake location and was delighted by the delicious flavors of the dishes. The authentic Mexican chicken tacos were exactly what I was craving. I urge you to support this business, as I would hate to see it go away.

My family enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but we recently encountered some issues with the staff. One worker rudely threw money at my mother and refused to accommodate her request for a specific salsa. The food was satisfactory and the prices were reasonable, but the customer service was lacking.
